Raffles Sentosa Singapore

Explore the soundtrack of nature on a walking tour curated by naturalists.

In this captivating experience, you are invited to discover Sentosa Island's vibrant birdlife, curated by naturalists from The Untamed Paths. Singapore's bird diversity is incredible with over 420 species and, out in the field, you will use your senses of observation and listening to pick out interesting avian fauna in their homes.

Home for these bird species is a secondary rainforest ecosystem, and this walking trail through tall trees, skirting the coastline, is an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, picking up the ropes involved with ‘birding’, and learning how to spot and identify common birds using a pair of binoculars. Look out for white-collared kingfishers, cuckoos and an array of migratory species, co-existing within this island sanctuary. An experience for guests of all ages – photographers, nature-lovers, families – the walk takes place every Saturday between 7.00am and 8.30am.

"Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?"

- Sir David Attenborough
