Our wine philosophy
Taking as our inspiration Britain's history as a successful trading nation, our wine list at Raffles London at The OWO is organised into wines from former British territories (British trade route wines) and wines that were originally traded with other nations (global trade route wines). We highlight wineries and estates that follow sustainable winegrowing and winemaking practices.
Meet our Director of Wine
Vincenzo Arnese
Introducing award-winning sommelier Vincenzo Arnese, Director of Wine at Raffles London at The OWO, responsible for the wine programme across the whole hotel. He brings with him over two decades of experience at prestigious hotels and restaurants in Switzerland, Australia and the UK. Originally from Naples, he was introduced to wine by his grandfather and developed a keen interest from a young age. In 2022 he was named Taittinger UK Sommelier of the Year, and was Best Sommelier in the GQ Food & Drink Awards 2023.
