Your Boston discovery starts here. Towering over the historic Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Raffles stands as the company’s first address in America. Inspiration was drawn from the hotel’s historic cultural surroundings and the city’s Emerald Necklace, a series of parks, gardens and waterways, carrying botanical influences throughout the property. Art and sculptural design employ materials and patterns that play off Boston’s history and architecture. Copper accents are prevalent throughout, in a nod to Paul Revere’s copper plating company. Historical illustrations adorn custom wall coverings, whimsical lighting is inspired by florals, and greenery references the charming window boxes found throughout Back Bay.

At Raffles Boston you will walk into a vertical oasis, and then discover a suite designed after the Emerald Necklace or Art Deco Boston. Exquisite details and curated literature provide hints of history, while innovative gastronomy in five dining destinations and wellness therapies in our Guerlain Spa serve to elevate your experience.
Begin your stay on a high note, experiencing the luxury of a Boston skyline helicopter tour. Discover a world of wonder as you soar above the ever-evolving skyline and breathtaking surroundings of this vibrant city. For this experience you will travel south of the city and board a first-class turbine-powered aircraft. In America’s most walkable city, stride into history on a walk of the Freedom Trail with our local guide and historian. The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile red-brick trail through Boston’s historic neighborhoods that tells the story of the American Revolution and beyond. From Old North Church to Faneuil Hall, and through resonant burying grounds, visit the temples and landmarks of the revolutionary era.
From land to water, set sail aboard a classic 80-foot yacht where your Raffles Butler will be waiting to show you the sights of the city. Within minutes of leaving the dock, discover the waterfront landmarks through this elegant and gentle cruise on the harbor. Canapés and bubbles will be served onboard in true Raffles fashion.
Boston is home to America’s first and most beloved ballpark, Fenway Park. Learn about the sport of baseball through an exclusive insider tour hosted by a former Red Sox and MLB slugger taking you to the most restricted areas of the stadium before attending a thrilling game. DAY THREE
Boston is home to some of the most prestigious academies in the country, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This competition for the ‘most important American university’ only stretches about two miles. Arranged by your Raffles Butler through Cambridge Historical Tours, discover stories of invention, mischief, wealth, celebrities, tragedies and triumphs of these two renowned institutions. Great for families exploring the possibilities of attending these schools, travelers with curiosity for history or locals looking to swell with pride in what Boston has offered the national zeitgeist.
Designed as a 15th-century Venetian palazzo, this intriguing Boston museum is the capstone of Isabella Stewart Gardner’s decades of collecting art from her travels. Housing more than 2,500 objects, the eclectic assemblage includes scupltures, tapestries, rare books, decorative arts, and paintings by the likes of Raphael, Botticelli and Sargent. It is also the site of the world’s greatest art heist, which remains unresolved today. A guided ‘Theft Tour’ will bring you to the crime scenes and retrace the steps of the thieves in the infamous 1990 heist of the Gardner Museum.
