Design inspired by the city's Emerald Necklace
Award-winning hospitality design firm Stonehill Taylor created all the rooms and suites and most of our public spaces, infusing the design with an elegant and comfortable residential atmosphere. Inspiration was drawn from Raffles Boston’s historic cultural surroundings and the city’s Emerald Necklace, carrying botanical influences throughout the property. Art and sculptural design employ materials and patterns that play off Boston’s history and architecture. Copper accents are prevalent throughout, in a nod to Paul Revere’s copper plating company; historical illustrations adorn custom wall coverings; whimsical lighting is inspired by florals; and greenery references the charming window boxes found throughout Back Bay.
